I want to make it perfectly clear that I have nothing against E.L. James. I'm sure she is a lovely person. I respect that this is her first novel, and I applaud her for her success. I have no idea if by the end of this experience I will enjoy her book(s), but I'm going to blog about it regardless. If you feel I'm being too harsh, let me know! Keep in mind, however, that it won't change the way I read this novel, and I'm going to accurately represent my thoughts as I read in this blog. Thusly, you may find my commentary a bit harsh.
